Permission has been granted to build a rural hotel on the land, to include a 200 sq metre reception building and 11 separate bedroom units,

Between 2005 – 2012 A Yurt hotel was run very successfully on the land for 8 seasons from 2005 to 2012. The yurts are no longer up but the pools, decks and pergolas remain. The town hall allowed the hotel to run while the necessary permissions were sought, but the Junta de Andalucía finally deemed that the yurts were not suitable accommodation and the hotel closed at the end of 2012. We have included photos of the pools and gardens so that you can get a feel for the land and the enormous potential it has for someone to create a truly magical hotel here.
The land consists of three hectares of olive grove, cork oak woodland and open meadow, and is classified as Specially Protected. It is entered via an electric gate, and a gravel track leads into the main car park at the top of the land and then on down to a smaller second car park. It is fully fenced and has a 70 metre bore hole, with the pump sitting at around 40 metres. It is also connected to the Las Pilas water which comes down the track to all the farms and is run as a cooperative. Permission has been granted by the Ayuntamiento of Cortes de la Frontera to join the mains town water. Until now all the facilities on the land have run off solar power but mains electricity does come down the track so it would be possible to connect to this. There is a studio casita of 24 sq metres with a shower room with building permission granted by the town hall in 2004.

The permit is open-ended and subject to specific planning so you can design the project to your liking.
The current owners spent many years of planning and negotiations to get this project passed by the Junta de Andalucia , it is extremely rare to be able to purchase such a project , especially in this area .
